Himachal - the Land of Celestial Beauty.



Himachal Pradesh is a state in Northern India. Referred to as dev bhoomi and Land of God, Himachal Pradesh is surrounded by Jammu and Kashmir on the north, Punjab on the west, Uttaranchal on the east and Uttar Pradesh on the south.

 The word "Himachal" Directly means the abode of snowfall. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh, the total area of the state is 55,673 square km. fully state is covered with immense natural beauty and that is undoubtedly one of the most popular tourist destinations in the globe. A greater part of the area is mountainous with deep valleys, lofty ranges, lush greenery and swaying waterfalls. The environment varies extremely from one place to the other, we can Find heavy rain falls to some area, no rainfall to others on a single time. Due to high in altitude, snow-fall is a common sight in most parts of Himachal Pradesh. There are 12 districts in the state which are additional subdivided into blocks, towns and villages for administrative convenience. Himachal is known to be the second least corrupt state in the whole country. Owing to the huge production of apples that is why Himachal Pradesh is also known as the State of Apples.


Travelling or staying in Himachal Pradesh during the monsoons has its own beauty. This is when the hills turn lush green, there are colorful flowers blossomed all around and winters too make a brilliant season for Himachal Pradesh tours as it is during this time that the entire region is covered with soft snowfall.
